Thanks, Nicolas The beeping problem many times has to do with the ram (either ram has gone bad...or the computer has incompatible ram in it). I switched from PCs years ago to escape the MS Empire... However, whether I reinstall both, one or the other one, depending on which slot I place it in, I still get either 1 or 3 beeps. That didn't help.
I'm guessing your iMac has 2 ram slots...so your iMac would have either 1 or 2 sticks of ram in it. Out of Space - Apple Battery Info.
